“Starlight” is an elementary trio with I, M, and A fingers strumming chords and fun, descending glissandos in parts 2 and 3.

After all students demonstrate proficiency in the two glissando ostinati (parts 2 and 3), teach chords 1 & 2 with “rasgueado” strumming technique. Put parts together and perform with the students.  The teacher should cue all changes in ostinati or chord changes by demonstration and verbal cue.
